Buddha big head

There will probably be alot of pics of buddhas and big heads in the upcoming weeks, so just deal with it, ok? You can always send me pictures if you get bored and want to see something else.......

This is in Thailand at the ancient city of Ayutthaya, the capital of Thailand before it was sacked by the Burmese in the 1760's annd subsequently moved to the area that is now Bangkok.

peek a boo bighead, Angkor Cambodia

This is at Angkor, Cambodia, though I must admit I forget which temple exactly. I believe Ta Prohm.

Anyhow, the trees have run riot over the ruins and the roots grew around this stone head. It's amazing how nature adapts, even to big heads.
